This site is published in a personal capacity by Gaetan, an independent developer, as part of the development of the game Astra Genesis. Contact: reewen@playastragenesis.com.

Hosting

The site is hosted by the provider named in the press kit and in the project repository. The host's technical logs are retained according to its own legal retention periods and are not used for advertising.

Intellectual property

The name Astra Genesis, the logo, the texts, the visuals and the code of the game and of this site belong to their author. Screenshots and logos may be reused under the terms described on the press page. The rest may not be reproduced without agreement.

Personal data

Exactly one piece of personal data is collected on this site: the email address you voluntarily enter into the newsletter form. It is used solely to send you news about the game. It is neither sold, rented, nor passed to a third party, and no external emailing provider has access to it: messages are sent from a server I administer.

Retention: for as long as you stay subscribed. An unconfirmed sign-up is deleted automatically after seven days.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase and object. The unsubscribe link in every email removes the address immediately and permanently. For anything else, write to reewen@playastragenesis.com: I answer personally.

If we disagree, you may refer the matter to the CNIL, the French supervisory authority.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising cookie and no tracking cookie. No consent banner is shown, and that is deliberate: there is nothing to consent to.

Used only where necessary: local storage to remember the language you picked, which never leaves your browser; and, for the single person who administers the site, a strictly technical session cookie, valid for eight hours, required to sign in to the admin area.

Audience measurement

Traffic is measured with Umami, a cookie-free tool that records neither a full IP address nor any identifier that would recognise you from one visit to the next. The data is neither sold nor shared for advertising purposes. If you would rather not be counted, your browser's Do Not Track setting is respected.

External links and services

The site links out to Discord and to game stores. Following those links takes you off this site and into their own privacy policies. The Discord member counter shown on the home page is fetched server-side: your browser does not contact Discord unless you click.

Liability

The information about the game describes software in development and may become inaccurate from one build to the next. Nothing announced here constitutes a contractual commitment.
